Instructor Training Courses

Instructor Technical Training Programme

180 hours

CHF 3200.-

AlpineMojo Level 3/4 technical instructor training course runs from mid December to February half term and includes 180 hours of training purely focused on progressing your personal ski level.

Having discussed your goals and produced a personal training programme, our course will cover general technique as well as long and short turns on piste, bumps, variables and off-piste, as well as the option to try and put these skills into a race course.

Our training programme also includes full time mentoring support, fitness training, video analysis and ski tuning clinics, and will not go up in price for the 2018/19 season.

Impress us with your work ethic and commitment, and there is even an opportunity to work for AlpineMojo most weekends as well as the peak weeks!

With her wealth of experience managing training programmes, and holding the highest-level certification in the Swiss, British, and French systems, Sega Fairweather is ideally placed to oversee the instructor training for AlpineMojo.

Sega Fairweather represented Great Britain for 8 years in all 4 Alpine Racing events, ranked 2nd overall in the UK upon her retirement. Motivated to pass on her expertise, she coached U16 athletes in a full time programme for 4 years, alongside coaching duties for the British Children’s Ski Team. Her former athletes are all successful, and many of them are on the British Ski Team currently. Many L3/4 instructors have passed their technical exams having had tuition from Sega throughout their training.

The best training option is the one that is catered to your needs as an individual. If you are interested in more information, or how our programme can work for you, please call us on +41(0)77 460 24 20 or email us at alpinemojotraining@gmail.com.

Instructor Technical Training Weeks

30 hours

CHF 399.-

If you want to improve your skiing technique, but are not able to commit to a full time programme, you are welcome to join us on a week-by- week basis. You will have the same mentoring support, but the focus is purely on the skiing. Dependent on your goals, we would advise booking specific weeks, and perhaps 2 weeks in a row to optimise your training time.

Having discussed your goals and produced a personal training programme, our course will cover general technique as well as the specific theme for the week whether that is long and short turns on piste, bumps, or variables/off-piste.

Our training includes full time mentoring support and video analysis. Dependent on the week/conditions you will have access to supplementary sessions such as ski tuning or fitness.

Please note that this training programme will only go ahead if the minimum number of candidates commit to the course, so we strongly advise taking out insurance. Should there be fewer we will endeavour to run some form of training, and this may result in fewer hours. We will discuss this with you if the mater arises.

Exam Preparation Week

30 hours

CHF 399.-

Not designed to completely change your skiing, the primary objective of an exam preparation week is to tweak and make minor adjustments to your approach technically and tactically prior to the exams. All strands are covered in this week- piste short and long turns, bumps and variables.

Our training includes full time mentoring support and video analysis. Dependent on the week/conditions you will have access to supplementary sessions such as ski tuning or fitness.
