Sega represented Great Britain for 8 years during her career as a ski racer. After retiring became Head Coach of U16‘s programme at Team Evolution & at selected international events coached the British Children’s Ski Team. Sega holds the highest qualifications in the British (BASI), Swiss and French systems, & has been based in the 4 Vallées for 7 years. Alongside her regular clients, Sega continues to race coach and manage the instructor training programmes. Sega enjoys being out on the mountain whether she is snowboarding, powder skiing or freestyle; nevertheless finds beginners and timid skiers the most rewarding to work with!
Alex has done many seasons instructing in Verbier and elsewhere around the world. Alex has a Swiss mentality from living in Geneva for the past 15 years and the energy and character of his Australian background (even though his accent might throw you off). Alex loves teaching people of all ages, whether you’re an accomplished skier or it’s your first time on snow Alex is your guy
The Director of AlpineMojo, Eliott started his skiing career in Verbier at 2 years old. Returning to the 4 Vallées each year with his family only cemented his love for the sport and Valais region. Eliott became a Ski School Manager in 2016, and has since accumulated a wealth of experience alongside teaching his regular clients, notably Race Coaching the Chinese National Development Team worldwide. A trained chef, Eliott has a passion for good food and certainly knows the best spots to eat on the mountain! He likes to travel whenever time allows, drawn to the coast to feed his passion for water sports.
Originally destined to play football having been scouted to play for Leicester, Oli traded his football boots for skis full time at 19, and has been tearing around the 4 Vallées ever since. Oli realised his potential for coaching trainee instructors during his tenure in New Zealand, and now is a permanent fixture of the AlpineMojo training programmes. A lover of moguls, Oli can often be found teaching clients on the itineraries of the 4 Vallées. An enthusiastic instructor, Oli’s passion for skiing is obvious, and clearly reflected in his clients’ smiles and laughter!
A favourite of many, Olly has been teaching in Verbier for the past 4 seasons. A passionate skier, he knows many secret lines – something he inherited from his parents who originally met in Verbier. When he isn’t teaching is often found doing crazy couloirs with friends. Olly studied Politics at Newcastle University and worked on the last two general elections. He has always had a passion for cricket, where he is still a playing member of Marylebone (at Lord’s); Hurlingham, & Marlborough Blues. He holds the English Cricket Board L2 Coaching Qualification, and spends the summer coaching 6-16 year olds. Although he is half Australian, he insists that he supports England throughout the Ashes!
This is Jerry’s 5th season in Verbier and second teaching for AlpineMojo. Jerry moved here after Graduating from University to fulfill her childhood dream of working a ski season. Over the years she has worked as a nanny with many clients and decided to start her instructor training last year. She’s great with kids and is hoping to complete her next exam this season!
Pete is an Australian/Austrian who follows the snow year round coaching in Australia and then in Europe. Pete has an extensive background in race coaching and is involved with the AlpineMojo British Army race team. As well as English Pete is a fluent German speaker. Pete likes to start his day right and he is always first up the hill and in the café where you can find him with his Ein Kaffee Bitte
After completing a degree in Pharmacology/Physiology, Chris spent the next 30 years working in a variety of international marketing roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Chris has lived in Switzerland for 24 years and his knowledge of Verbier is extensive, having seen the area evolve since he first started skiing here in 1992. In 2014 Chris signed up for a ski instructor course, where he successfully earned his BASI Level 2 certificate. His skiing improved greatly, but more importantly, he discovered how much he enjoyed helping clients improve in both their technique and confidence. Shortly after, Chris decided to combine this with his own passion for skiing and his commercial skills, founding AlpineMojo Ski School.
Niall is a former ski racer who competed for the British Junior team. After finishing school, Niall went into coaching, working with athletes all around the UK and in Europe. When not working on skiing fast, he enjoys freestyle and freeriding; these passions brought him to working in Japan, instructing and chasing the infamous powder.
This is Niall’s second full season in the 4 valleys after having visited the region to ski with friends in the past many times. The terrain here always left him wanting to come back for more, providing the opportunity to progress his own skiing. Niall has recently purchased the 35l mammut airbag backpack but he really wishes he had bought the 45l backpack and a pair of climbing shoes
Gab has been based in the 4 Vallées for many years, and has one of the highest qualifications in the Swiss system. She is not only a fantastic skier, but is a weapon on the telemark skis & on a snowboard! A mountain lover, when not teaching she can be found freeriding or exploring the backcountry, and in summer spends her free time on her mountain bike, hiking, or in the gym. As a practicing Physiotherapist, Gab is able to draw links between skiing performance & base alignment, taking her technical teaching to another level. Gab speaks French, English and Dutch.
Harvey is an ex-ski racer who knows the 4 Vallées extremely well having first skied in Nendaz in 2006, returning every year since. As well as ripping carved turns around the mountain, you will often find Harvey doing freestyle tricks in the park, and skiing off-piste when not on duty. He completed 5 exams back-to-back last season to complete his practical ISIA modules. Harvey coaches AlpineMojo’s CORE race training programmes alongside his regular clients, and often teaches snowboarding, having discovered a love for it last year. Harvey is a keen photographer; his awesome shots of the AlpineMojo team are testament to his talents!
